Studio Artist (the software) is closing their Ning-hosted forum on May 31st this year (2024). Of course, this came as a shock to everyone when we received the email, which read:
Aloha Everyone,
Just a reminder once again that the forum will be closing on May 31st. If you need to download any images please do so before then. After May 31st your images will no longer be available to download.
We also want to say thank you to all of you who’ve made our forum the amazing community it is. Your images, insights, chats, and friendships have truly made it special.

This was announced before now and everyone is shocked and saddened by the news. I think someone is making a group on Discord or Reddit for people who want to discuss Studio Artist. The forum was really helpful. We’re not sure why it’s shutting down as the owner isn’t responding to anyone, which is too bad.
Those of us who use the software love it. I’ve had it for years and it’s a lot of fun to use, and I’ve probably only scratched the surface of what it’s capable of. Also, I hope the software continues to work. I don’t know if Synthetik is disbanding as well or if it’s just the forum. We shall see.
